SADIE is an International performing artist, instructor and choreographer who is recognized worldwide as one of today's most exciting Belly Dance artists. First seen as a “Rising Star” on BD-TV Vol.II in 2004, Sadie has since released over a dozen instructional and performance videos, has visited over 10 countires teaching and performing and is the highest viewed Belly Dancer on YouTube with 8 million hits on just one clip alone.  Sadie draws upon an innate understanding of movement instilled from 14 years of training in gymnastics and swimming as an adolescent. She began practicing Belly Dance as a teenager. As a student, Sadie studied with many reputable Middle Eastern dance and music teachers from around the world. Some of the most influential moments in her education include two extended trips to Turkey where she studied and observed the dance and learning to play the doombek (Middle Eastern hand drum) via master percussionist and musician Souhail Kaspar, which impressed a great understanding of the varied Middle Eastern rhythms as well as the relationship between the music and dance. Sadie’s lifelong love for dance, music and culture has prompted her to explore and study other forms of world dances such as, Brazilian Samba, Salsa, Tahitian and more. This background has given Sadie a style that is uniquely hers and a great command of movement and dance that comes to life not only in her inspiring performances but also in her gift to teach. Based out of Denver, CO, when Sadie is not traveling she can be found teaching her ongoing weekly classes as well as dancing at some of the city’s finest restaurants, nightclubs and events where she has performed over 300 shows in one year. She has received accolades such as "The Critic's Choice" by the Denver Post and Westswords "Denver's Best 2006" for shows and dance classes. Workshop themes Drum Solo Choreography - 26 June Saturday 10:00-13:00 (3 hours) Sadie is known world wide for her awesome drum solo technique and choreographies. She has been featured on many performance and instructional videos displaying her unique skill. Experience the full potential of a Drum Solo. Sadie does not skip a beat. Learn how to apply the "Drum Solo Secrets" in one of Sadie's stellar Drum Solo choreographies, several choreographies in workshop format to choose from. Fun with Props - 27 June Sunday 10:00-13:00 (3 hours) Add the dynamic of props to your show. Start with the basics and then learn some of the oohs and aahs of sword, feather fans and wings. We will also discuss when and where these props are appropriate or not as well as safety tips. NOTE! Change in workshop program! Afro-Brazilian Samba workshop is replaced for Pops, Locks and Shimmies workshop! Pops, Locks and Shimmies - 27 June Sunday 14:00-16:00 (2 hours) This workshop follows the teaching format developed exclusively by Sadie & Kaya. You will be introduced to several concepts that will unleash your true potential to execute sharper, cleaner, stronger movements and isolations. EXTRA WORKSHOP by the artistic director of the Oriental Dance Hungary. Sefirah will be present her new fusion choreography at the weekend! Jazz - Oriental Choreography - 26 June Saturday 13:30-15:30 (2 hours) Learn the newest egyptian style combined with the classical american dance technique. The ''newest authentic fusion' will be full of exciting combinations, turn and spins, energetic and fast movements! :) SEFIRAH (Hungary)  Sefirah is a performing artist of oriental dances, and she has been performing for years in Hungary and abroad alike. She is an award-winning dancer. Due to her unique, imaginative performances she is considered as one of Hungary’s best oriental dancers. Several years of international experience has contributed to her development as a dancer and she continues to refine her abilities with the leading teachers of the Arabian world. n last years she was invited as performer and instructor to Canada, Austria, Germany and United Kingdom. In 2006 she founded her own enterprise, Oriental Dance Hungary, whose main aim is to help talented dancers who wish to improve their skills and are committed to this particular form of art. With years of professional experience behind her, she would like to increase the number of quality performances and thereby raise the prestige of the dancing profession and familiarise the audience with the values of this artistic form. She has been into stage dances since the age of 3, doing oriental dance since 1996. She has been teaching, choreographing and giving intensive courses for 7 years. Her expressive style has won her recognition on four of the continents. She has performed in Egypt, Yemen, Kenya, Tunisia, Germany, France, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom and in several European festivals. Term of payment: As the intensive weekend course attracted unprecedented attention from the belly dancing community, ODH has devised a new system to provide a comfortable learning environment. In order to avoid registered but unpaid applications, the term of payment and general discounts is not set to a specific calendar day, but is determined by the day of the application – it is due by 24h of the 15th day following the submission of the application form!

Registration consists of two simple steps: 1.
